Anybody else annoyed at the foriegn play by play that can be heard in the background of the NBC telecast?

The Colts and all their fans got an early Christmas gift. For being one of the greatest coaches ever, Billy B made one of the worse calls in football history. For those that missed the ending, no coach in history has made such a terrible call.

On the bright side, Hauck can always know, no matter what, he can NEVER make that dumb of a decision.

Merry Christmas Colt Nation,

Bill B.

That had to be the iciest handshake after a game I have ever seen. That made Bobby and McBride's shakes seem rosey.

Can't say I didn't enjoy that, thought.

I enjoyed the sh!t out of it for a couple reasons.

1) Pats lose.
2) I had the Pats +3.

Pats lose and I make money. 8-)

That was one of the GREATEST calls in NFL history and I loved it.

That call right there is why BB wins more than he loses, he plays to win and that was the only chance they had to win. Great call, and I have Brady and Deon on my side. They liked it as well.

Not to mention they got the first down and the guy that called the bobble was shielded from actually viewing the ball because he was in back of Faulk. Pats got screwed but everyone knows who the better team is the PATS dominated them and will do it again in the playoffs.

Have to wonder what his defense said on the sidelines? I have no problem with the call, although it surprised the crap out of me.

And the Defense couldn't stop them at the end. Their big mistake was tackling the guy on the 1. It gave the Colts the chance to run about a minute off of the clock. If he had scored, at least they would have had a shot at a field goal.

I despise Belichick and Brady and Moss so I'm glad the Patriots lost. But, I too think it was a good call to go for the first down; if they'd made it, the game would have been over.

It was, what, 4th and 2?

I wouldn't have questioned a punt. It's an unwritten rule of football back to the dark ages that the failure to punt on fourth down is a leading cause of losing. That would certainly apply here. That said, on 4th and 2, I would have at least CONSIDERED running load option, perhaps out of Power I. Keep the guard in to seal the line, and the power back and fullback take out the end and Sam backer, allowing either the QB or the TB to get the first down.

I believe that such a play call would have worked. But even with that, the punt would have been the better call. Pin the Dolts deep. Who knows? Brady may have been picked on the following first down. Barring an interception on a fly pattern, any pick would have cost NE more in yardage than a punt.
