Indoor Practice Facility Grand Opening

I don't think msu did anything shady when it came to raising the money, but this picture posted on Twitter by the cats Football page shows something interesting. Look at the fence around the construction. Looks to me as though there is a scannable QR Code to where you can donate to the project. Has msu not raised all the money for the project yet? Are they taking out a loan or using institutional dollars? I just think it's kind of odd that they appear to still be asking for donations.
Right next to the shit pond eh

I don’t care if this thing was a stick hut with a straw roof as long as it gets the football team indoors out of the elements, warm and comfortable and not practicing on 3 inches of ice in the middle of a playoff run then I am all for it. When you add in the fact that our softball team our soccer team, our track teams and the community are going to tap into it. It’s even better. This thing will generate a lot of dollars off of the community rentals. That’s exactly how they are planning to use it. This will help them upgrade other facilities or pay for a permanent structure when the timing is right.
Right. People are ridiculous complaining about this.

I garauntee the team and staff isn’t complaining about it. And the way they built it, when the time is right all they have to do is take down the bubble and put up the permanent structure. It will greatly save on costs at that time. Meanwhile they can focus on a possible west side expansion and not have to worry about indoor practice for years.

I bet you those Dakota schools would love to have our ticket revenue at their “behind the Montana schools” stadiums.

Also have you been to the Dakotas? A god damn bubble would be glass by mid January.
I'd trade ticket revenue for a national championship title. Were any of our players alive the last time we won something besides a state championship?

Its only been 22 years, nine months, and twenty-five days(not counting leap years), but who's counting. There may be a Senior or Redshirt Senior or two around which qualify. Betcha they don't remember the Furman game, though.😂

So what do you guys mean as far as a basketball arena being more basketball friendly? I guess I don't understand what you mean.

I will say when given the choice of seeing Elton John in The Brick vs The Adam's center, I chose the Adam's center because the acoustics for a concert suck in the Brick. Also, who is the Adam's center named for?

Well this is an athletic facility so the teams won't be charged anything to use it since the AD raised the money for it. Outside entities will be charged to rent it though. I'm not sure about the rec center and club sports if they'll be charged or not, but athletics can use it for free whenever they want since it's their facility
Actually I could see reasons to charge athletics for rental space. Just another way to move money around for benfits to your botom line. Say if this was a private business I would have a company own the buildings for everything and then the company that runs the teams pay rent to that company. It benefits your bottom line and other things.

Grizzly Adam’s of course, patron saint of Cat a$$ whoopings.

Actually it was named after Harry Adams.

Harry Adams, excellent track and fields athlete (may have played football too) Legendary track an field coach.
