Looks like almost $16 million of that project will go towards demolition of current structures that sit where the new proposed facility is supposed to go. The construction of the facility is priced at just shy of $30 million, plus another $15 million in other project costs. Subtracting out the demo costs, the total price tag of the project is about $45 million. Keep in mind that part of the project at Utah includes replacing existing outdoor practice fields with two new turf practice fields located right outside the facility. That part alone tacks on an additional few million dollars, plus installing another new turf field inside the facility. These turf fields are not cheap.

Just so you know. Over 5 million has already been donated. This should be going to the BOR in March. Hoping to actually have it done in Oct/Nov of 22 with Spring 23 the latest date.

Will have the ability to build a permanent structure over the surface later down the road, if wanted/needed.

Wait, wait, wait...so, no secret grizzly den carved high up into Mount Sentinel, then? No "Penthouse", if you will? With a whole 200ft high (or however tall practice bubble/domes are) and 100+ yards wide glass wall overlooking Missoula's lights during a night soccer match held there (a lot of people can boast of playing "under the lights" but at UM you can play above them ) or viewing a Montana sunset over the Rockies during a football visit?

Imagine the cost savings of actually training at a mile high (or just under) without needing equipment to simulate it. And..and there could be sharks with laser beams on their heads for the visitor's hydrotherapy pools. It was going to be our big "F.U." to Oregon and 'Bama in the facilities race with our unique, one-of-a-kind-ness. And if you're worried about a few extra pennies in cost, the U could steal some business ideas from the ski resorts and install gondolas to the M/facility and charge people that don't want to hike up. $$$ Or make some ski lifts and some ski runs. $$$ Imagine the bump in enrollment if tuition included ski access to the campus' own ski hill. $$$ Install Zip Lines and Alpine Slides (like Big Mountain/Whitefish Mountain Resort's) to keep the money rolling all year. $$$ Where's the head clown running this circus...I haven't taken my meds yet and I have ideas!

In all seriousness, even this bubble version looks great and looks to be a huge benefit for a lot of programs! :thumb:
