Griz D held Furman QB to 37% completion percentage last week and this week they held Cam Miller to 40%. Being that Miller led all of FCS with a 76% completion %, that’s absolutely incredible.

Cam Miller overthrew many of his receivers on plays that would have turned the game over and Griz coverage players could not have stopped. Very uncharacteristic of him in a crucial game. You could see his frustration.

Pressure will do that.

He got absolutely rocked a couple of times and think he was rattled. He looked concussed late in the game after taking a hard hit. Not sure he got that kind of pressure in postseason.

Those overthrows make up for the 2 Circus catches that made up about 60 yards of his passing totals. Both those catches were perfectly covered by a DB.

Dropped passed by the tight ends did not help his numbers. At least two key drops really hurt NDSU

Three key drops really hurt UM. Shit happens…footsteps. :D :D

A few of the FCS podcasts actually mentioned that both defenses would be best to force each offense to throw long and see if the qb's could beat them deep. I wish I could remember which podcasters said this.
Unfortunately, I listened to so many new (to me) podcasts, I don't remember.
I highly recommend going to Spotify and search "FCS" there are several podcasts that are good.
FCS Nation, FCS Fan Nation, Blue Bloods, Hack City to name a few.
It's great to hear what those outside of our fans and conference think.
Surprisingly enough, many of them picked the GRIZ in a few point game.
I hope some of you do this.
