It's fine to say that your favorite players are the Montana kids. Nothing wrong with that at all. And nothing inherently contradictory about it.

But some comments on this forum have suggested that being born within the imaginary border lines of Montana somehow endows a person with magical powers like integrity, character, intelligence and willingness to work hard, etc., which people born outside those imaginary lines somehow lack.

And as someone born inside those lines, I'm here to tell you that line of thinking is pure fairy dust material.

If the goal is to win football games, then you shouldn't care where the players come from. If Montana has great recruits, then sign them! If not, then bring in a player from outside the state. There shouldn't be some kind of "litmus" test favoring local kids. That is stupid. Do you think Alabama cares what state their players come from?

I know the running back, heard about him, but have only seen him rush for about 80 yards in two games that I have attended. Don't have a clue who the skinny dude is in the top picture.

Was the question "Most overrated running back in big sky history is.....?" or "Can you find a picture of some dude that nobody knows....?"

You mean the guys that have 4,634 yards of offense, 40 TDs, and have beat you 2 out of 3 times? Yeah, those guys.

In the years they actually played against us:

Cody Kirk - 33 carries for 100 yards rushing total, 0 TDs
Tanner Bleskin - 5 catches for 44 yards receiving total, 0 TDs

We're back to your old, sour grapes. Again. Listen, a win is a win. You guys one some scrapers this year too. Consider it a good thing. Without them, I don't know if this board exists with a Griz team losing any more than 6 games.

So, the question remains, would you guys rather win a close game or just plain lose? It seems to me like a win isn't necessarily a win and a loss isn't necessarily a loss (if PR is a good representative of Egriz mentality).
