Thought it appropriate to post these outstanding game highlights from GoGriz and the UM video crew...

Of course I love the dramatic offensive plays, but the single play that epitomizes this team's offensive success is the perfect view of an Ahmaad Rorie assist to Karl Nicholas for an under-over layup. Good teams feed off of the guy who directs the flow from the point -- at both ends of the floor. In my book, Ahmaad Rorie is a deserving leading candidate for Big Sky MVP. There are several more views of laser-perfect assists from several players. Watching a game live, the assists are often overlooked. These highlights give a good view of Montana's team play. Montana had 18 assists, compared to state's 8 assists.

That was a great assist, and pass. My favorite is on this tape at about 45 seconds. Falls drives from right (looking from camera), jumps and dishes out and across to Rorie is out front on left. Rorie is open for a 3. Instead of taking it, he makes a slick pass to his right to Falls who has come across to the left corner (looking from camera). Falls is even more open, and knocks down another 3.

Journal, like you, I believe Rorie is the straw stirring the drink. Even without better shooting, he is playing very well.

Terrific highlights. I still need to watch the game. Thanks to work, I could only listen to the game.

These highlights certainly bring out the "Swagger" Falls and Nicholas have. Cherry, Jamar, and Gregory at times had showed that swagger, but they seemed to keep it inside themselves more. Nicholas and Falls don't hide their emotions. I love seeing that kind of swagger in players in all sports. Here is to hoping each learn how to use that kind of swagger to help their team. As freshmen, they at times struggle with it. Nicholas tends to get overly aggressive and get in foul trouble when there is a bad call against him. Falls tends to let it show a little too often with officials, that puts him in the spotlight a little too much.

The upside potential of this year's team and next year's team is as high as GRIZ NATION has seen in many years. If they can reach their full potential, they can be recognized on the national level.
