The maroon of the pants was a lighter shade; not sure I liked that; I presume our home jerseys will be of the same shade. What I loved was the wear and tear the jerseys withstood from popping Huskies, again and again.

Seen bits and pieces of the game, but not ONCE did I look at the uniforms, new, old, a different shade...I'd like to think I'm just a purist.

Funny story. When the game first started, my wife commented "I don't like the look of the stripe down the leg of the pants". When we won the game, she did a 180 and said, "I LOVE THE STRIPE DOWN THE PANTS NOW!" :lol: :lol:

I don't care for names on the back, but uniforms aren't a hill I wanna die on. They could wear mint green with brown stripes and I wouldn't care as long as they play like they did this week.

I also watched the whole game without even noticing the new unis. It was only when I re-watched it that I realized. And yes, it's a very "girlie" thing to say, which is exactly why I mentioned it.
