I'm sorry (Dlouhy)

dlouhy - from a cat fan, i watched the game, and even posted on bobcat nation that i didn't think you meant any harm. awesome job steppin up, but from a guy who has played a lot of ball, and knows how things go at game speed, it happens. you are not a dirty player, and if you were, i'm sure you'd take it out on the cats! on that note, why do you insist on going off on us? for what it is worth, i hope you dont get suspended for this weeks game against us. imo you dont deserve a suspension at all, but if so, it's too bad it'd be this weekend. wait a minute, what am i saying? you kill us, and you might have to sit. this could be huge for us! seriously though, sorry for the situation, and i look forward to seeing you THIS WEEKEND! GO CATS!

Your a class act ilovethecats, I'm sorry we couldn't of got together in Seattle for a couple brews. Did you have the same problems with the Seahag fans as we did. What an obnoxious bunch of A-holes. I will never root for a Seattle team again.

Thanks for the post Matt. You are a heck of a ballplayer, and you are a class act as well. I was at home watching the game and I was fired up. I'm sorry you were ejected, but glad that nobody was seriously injured. You're classiness makes me proud to be a GRIZ fan. Good luck the rest of the way, and hope to see you again in the field of 65. Hey pburggrizz, I told you that Pittsburgh was gonna get their a** kicked. hehe. :loser:

Yep yep ewok you sure did. Got to keep the faith baby. I would love to see that little patoot who sit in front of us in the Ram game. Serves em right for being a-hole fans. P-burg plays Noxon tonight at the Ronan gym at the District Tournament. Are you going? And thank you Matt for the post. You are a class act in my book and will be rooting for you and the rest of the Griz Saturday night against the Cats. Hope you will be on the floor. God bless you and the rest of the Grizz.

pburg - thanks for the kind words. although i "hate" the griz, a little objectivity never hurt anyone, and sometimes that seems to lack on these boards. as for meeting in seattle, i think you have confused me for someone else. i was never in seattle this year. in fact, the last time i was there was to watch my vikes(dont laugh) play seattle in that sunday night game. you know, the one where alexander went ahead and got 4 touchdowns in the first half! i am very bad luck for the vikings! anyway, thanks for the post, and best of luck this weekend. looks like dlouhy will play!

pburggrizz! I don't know if I will make it tonight, due to the fact that there's a big basketball game on espn2 in Chappel Hill, NC tonight. Maybe I can catch the Prospectors later in the weekend. [/quote]

I'm ending a week-long loss of internet connection e-griz hiatus by saying that it was awfully nice of Matt to say that here. It shows a lot of class. I hope he doesn't get suspended, but doesn't have a good game either on Saturday. :tounge: I didn't think it was really intentional, but sometimes a simple hold can turn into a very hard foul. Even though I'm a Bobcat fan, I have to admit that this Grizzly program is a class act through and through, starting at the top. Way to go Matt!

Big Sky To Issue No Suspensions

UM-ISU No Suspension - Feb. 7

Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton has reviewed the game tape of last Saturday’s Montana-Idaho State men’s basketball game, and will issue no suspensions for the altercation that occurred near the end of the first half.

Montana’s Matt Dlouhy and Idaho State’s Logan Kinghorn were both ejected from the game played on Feb. 4 at Reed Gym in Pocatello, Idaho. Dlouhy was called for a flagrant foul for grabbing Kinghorn’s jersey as he was going up in the air to attempt a basket. Dlouhy was ejected. Kinghorn was ejected for approaching the Montana bench after getting up from the floor.

“We are disappointed with the hard foul,’’ Fullerton said. “It was a dangerous situation. Both players were punished for their actions by the game officials by being ejected from the game, but after reviewing the film and interviewing game officials we concluded there was no action that warranted further discipline.”
