Hey guys. I'm the new guy here but have been a Griz fan for years!! I have never seen the need to start an account (though I visit the site often) until we were driving home from Missoula Saturday evening out of pure FRUSTRATION and needed to vent. I've always be content and satisfied with what our boys do on the field... until now. How could they not see that fake coming from mid field?!?! We were sitting in the 111 section and our special teams were very close to us and I was screaming FAKE!!!! as loud as I could hoping someone would see what I was tryin to say. And, well... you guys know the rest of the story. GRRRRR!!!!! I'm pretty sure its the coaching and Not the players. These kids are very talented. Maybe as talented as I've seen in a while for as young as they are. They lead 80% of the games they've played at the half and they let it fall apart. And by the end of the game my voice is shot and I drive home in pissy mood. Why in the funk did they pull Counts red shirt and not just play Kirshner?? What's the function?!?! Kirshner is a beast of a back. I'm so FRUSTRATED with this season I could puke!! Anyone wanna throw out some ideas so this doesn't turn into such a LONG work week, please?
 
You think this week is long...wait until we're 3-5 and have lost to TWO newbie teams in the conference.
 
Just to show you yer not suffering alone, I am a GRIZ fan CUSE fan and RAIDER fan and the only one I see hope for in near future is RAIDERS cuz of slow culture change... I am sure Engstrom loves this and will give delaney a 5 year extension... Heres hopeing I am wrong about the GRIZ getting no direction anytime soon
 
Nope venting is not working. So I asked Alpha what kind of booze to drink after this latest @%$#@&* football game! He mentioned plain old whiskey. Sat night I was feeling no football pain so thanks to Alpha and his drunkin mexican woman.

This past smokin summer feels like a harsh winter!

Our program is so bad one of my ex wives called to let me know. This just adds to the doom and gloom I felt last Sat. night watching our teams implosion.

Yet I do feel we will come back. Our program will once again rise, as it did in the early 1980s, thereby saving itself and Montana from disaster. Enjoy the nice weather.

I was yelling "TIME OUT" as loud as i could from the first row but nobody would listen to me either ;)

You always hear people say the phrase "it was like watching a train wreck in slow motion" but that does not do it justice. It was waaaaay more horrific than that. I think i might be able to blink during a train wreck, but i haven't blinked since that play. I knew something was up when the punter's head looked like it was on a swivel pre-snap. He kinda looked like a kid who gets to open a x-mas present early: he kept looking around as if to say, "are you sure its okay that i do this?"

Welcome to EGRIZ. Since you have visited the site often you probably know to expect to be called a "bad fan", "racist" or any other number of names and labels. You will also be accused of not knowing anything about football. But this is a great place to vent.
 
Thanks for all the input guys! I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone... never really figured I was from reading all the other posts but the venting kinda helped. I hope I don't get called a bad fan but if I do, then so be it. I'm not the type to sit there and watch something happen and not say something. But it still drives me crazy just thinkin about what is happening! Our boys had this game. They Had It!! But it blew away like a fart in the wind. I will support the Griz thru thick and thin but I think we need a change. Not for us necessarily for us as fans, but for these young player's futures. There is enough talent there for some more NFL draft picks. In my opinion. We need Kirshner out there!

+1 on Kirshner. Not sure why he hasn't been used more in Moore's absence. Maybe Brint or PR have more insight on why the coaches are not using him more. Not sure why Counts wasn't used this game either since he had already given up his redshirt for this season. If anyone calls you a bad fan just let it roll off, its a message board.

And someone who can throw the ball down the field after the LB's and S's crash the line of scrimmage to gang tackle Kirschner. I love Brett's running style... A good mix of Moore and Pete - Power and good feet in the hole with good top end speed (from his recruiting video). And the best part... he PUNISHES tacklers.
 
Punishing tacklers is an understatement!! I believe he is our key to victories. I'm having problems understanding why he isn't played either. Maybe he fumbles a lot in practice... ?? I really wish I knew. Like I said previously, I'm sold on him. And as far as Counts goes... that's just plain foolish. It makes me wonder if they're not worried about the next group of guys coming in next season. Hopefully that's the case. Hopefully. And just maybe they're eyeing another QB for us. I feel bad for McKinney but he jumped on board and I wish he could do what he needs to do, LeaD!
