Which will be filled to near capacity against Idaho State this Saturday - that shows we have a great fan base.
People have every right to bitch when Northern Colorado and Southern Utah are above the Griz in the standings. And if the players don't like hearing it, they shouldn't be playing here.

Yes SUU and UNC are ahead of us. With a little insight though you see that's due to the BSC's wonderful schedule. Look at SUU's wins and losses. Wins are against PSU, ISU, and UC-D. All teams below us. Losses are against us, UND, and WSU; the other two being above us all. Note they've also played one more con game giving them the chance to have one more win. UNC is in the same situation mostly. Wins over lowly Sac St and PSU plus an NAU team that had just lost their reigning FCS Freshman of the Year and team leader at QB. By the time we got to NAU their FBS drop down replacement was starting to find his grove. Their losses are to EWU and an ugly UC-D.

Of course it's just easier to complain about the sky falling instead of poking your head out the window and realize that you might have over stated how desperate the situation is. The sky ain't falling, it's just raining. Led Zeppelin said it best.
"Upon us all, upon us all a little rain must fall"
It's not always sunshine and pretty flowers. Sometimes there's a cloud but you got to see the silver lining.

Dennehy borrowed it for a prom date. Glenn took the Prom Queen to the prom and got "lucky". Bobby just drove up and down the drag in his Caddy but never did much else with it. Pflu was about to win first prize at the car show w/ his Caddy when someone stole it and put it in the ditch. Instead of restoring it, Delany just parked it in the yard, put it on blocks, and let it rust. Now Stitt is trying to fix our rusted old broke down Caddy and people want to fire him just as he's finishing the body work and the primer. Give him a chance to paint it first.

It wasn't any coach that put the "caddy" in the ditch or on blocks.

I'll always be grateful for what Delaney did. He came out of retirement and worked his ass off to keep the caddy from plummeting off a cliff. That is an extremely difficult position he was put into, so to point fingers and put the blame on him is bullshit. Maybe it makes you feel better about the current position of the program. That Stitt is just putting the pieces together from something that was shambles and that justifies some of the losing, but I don't see it that way.

Saying that, and so none of you freak out, I am still a fan of Stitt and I do think he has the capability of getting us back on top.

I just hope Mick Delaney or his family don't read egriz. He deserves a hell of a lot more respect than he gets on here.
