They beat Northwestern at the beginning of the season. Right, wrong, or indifferent...the committee probably felt that they had a better resume at 6-5 (which included wins over playoff teams W. Illinois and SDSU) playing in the Missouri Valley than several 7-4 teams. Montana's non-conference schedule and a lack of any quality wins within the BSC are probably what made the difference.

this makes the most sense to me.

All other things being equal, this is always HUGE in the selection process.

Being on a late season winning streak is a great way to get an invite for a bubble team. :ugeek:

Of course I wanted this Griz team in the play-offs. Making the play-offs is the only way to keep playing and as a Griz fan I love watching my team play.
