Old men's gym on the south end, practice fields on the north end. Grizz were lucky to win a coin toss back then, let alone a football game. Norm Kampschor, Stan Renning, John Lands.....Oh my, gotta quit this!!!!

Wow, if you were watching as a UM student my hats off to you. Renning was a little before I was there. I'm more the Rocky Klever, Bob and Ed Cerkovnik era. Ended up working with Rocky at Deloitte Touche (Deloitte Haskin and Sells at the time) in Seattle after his pro career :thumb:

Not as a UM student, as a Paxson and MCHS student.

Ok, ok! Still, good on ya!

Thanks, appreciate it. Same to you. Now back to "TODAY". Wife used to live in Normal Illinois, so was rooting for the Red Birds this week, and will be next week. Hopefully will be another great game. Sure wish our Grizz were going, but they will be someday soon !! :thumb:

Lol...Normal, Eh? I lived in Libertyville and Lincolnshire. Illinois was nuts - never saw anything normal there.

And, I'm with you on ISU - I definitely wanted them to win.

now I'm glad they won, but shouldn't have stopped watching...   what a moron!

After watching ISU demolish Eastern Wash. last weekend I was confidently predicting a victory over New Hampshire today and a real run against NDSU. Not sure now. I didn't even recognize that team in the first half---- arm tackles all over the place and their stud running back could barely get across the line of scrimmage. Ya they pulled out a victory but they better be a much better team to defeat the Bison.

I'm hoping ISU steps up too. If they do, it will be a great game...and I expect to see lots of NDSU and ISU fans
