Ifanse

What are D's? Why couldn't you just say Ifanse is a great player and he will be missed. We wish him well.
Without understanding what D's are either, and yet still laughing at the comment, I'll just add that the idea of Isaiah being a great player and will be greatly missed is not mutually exclusive of the Cats standing a great chance of being better at rushing the ball next year. Both can be true at the same time. It's not a zero sum game. Anyone who has actually played the game will understand this.

I think there are two separate questions on the #scumcat rushing attack:

1. Better in 2023 without him than they were in 2022?
2. Better in 2023 without him than they would be in 2023 with him?

Maybe on #1; absolutely not on #2.

Who was asserting #2? That's just plain crazy talk right there. He's easily the best RB to suit up for the Cats in a generation and should be considered for the HOF.

As for #1, that's exactly what I'm saying. As wbtfg has so eloquently pointed out, the Cats ran their way to an 8-0 conference record and broke the school record for total regular season rushing yards WITHOUT Isaiah playing a single down. (As of today) The Cats are returning the entire OL that includes 7 legitimate starters plus both TEs. This includes the return of the handy dandy Derryk Snell, who is an absolute magician at edge blocking. Look for immediate contributions next fall from Chance Wilson out of Oklahoma. He's a grey shirt this spring and is already on campus. I'll wait for a bit before I come running over here blathering about how he's better than our starters, but look for that post from me near the end of fall camp. garrr is going to love it. You can't make this stuff up.

Just pointing out that people are reading the Bobfan comments here on eGriz.com as #2, and not (completely) because said comments are shit.

You have to admit it's more pleasant to read/hear about your scenario than reading/hearing about a player leaving the team because he wasn't being developed. There may be two subtly different things afoot here. Being a college athelete is damn hard and if someone notices the energy , effort & results and makes note for those of us who aren't sweating along side in the champions center, or during winter conditioning, so much the better. They deserve the little bit of attention being focused on them, but so do the kids in basketball, soccer, softball, etc. We should all have high hopes for them as individuals who will contribute to the successes of the teams we root for. I truly applaude the hard work and dedication shown.

Don't make expectations of the football team based on talk about what's going on outside the white lines. That would be my advice. Football is after all, a team game, not a series of individual accomplishments. I get that some will, and it's a free country, they get to.

You won't be seeing those types of posts from me. My expectations are very low at this point.

As you can see from my last post, so are mine. I learned my lesson this year.

Ifnase is a great player and was held back this year as the Cats ace in the hole. He should be fully recovered from overuse and have a great year somewhere next year. You don't lose a player like that and not miss him.

Thankful they held their "ace" back for the brawl. Their 65 rushes might have been more damaging - if that is possible.

That’s exactly what you and the other bub troll said—the troll who said he likes to retract D’s.

You corrected CDA and said “*better” and you used a little asstrick* to emphasis the word

The other guy who said he likes to retract D’s said, “exactly how it looked this entire regular season. But better.”

He got called out, doubled-down, and you supported his horseshit.

*I know how it’s spelled.

Yea I think the cats are screwed in the running game next year without him. :)

They are if Mellot and Chambers get hurt. Then they're fucked. And SDSU showed that Vigen doesn't give a shit about the health of his players and will let them get beat to death. #winatallcostuntilyoudonthaveanoffense

Ha! This is precious, especially considering what Hauck did with your one and only QB.

Have to admit that their 3rd string qb that came in against SDS looked pretty good.

Sean Austin is who you are referring to. He is actually the 4th string QB. The third string QB, Jordan Reed was injured in Fall camp. Jordan looked very good before he got injured. I agree though, Sean Austin has looked good when he got an opportunity.

I've heard from some insiders (not PR, lol), that Chance Wilson has a very real chance to come in and compete for playing time as a true Freshman. That would be insane given the 4 talented QBs Cats already have in that room.

Chance Wilson comes in with some huge HS QB stats from Oklahoma. I do know he is enrolling now in January. He has a great arm and can run. Had good HS track stats too. Don't know anything else about him.

Nah, he was allowed to quit when he'd had enough.

Can’t you two ass clowns have these convos with each other or your fellow ass clowns over on kitty litter nation? Is that too much to ask?

Wow. So MSc will be better at the RB position despite its greatest RB in school history portaling-out, and now their 5th stringer at QB could be better than the starter(s) too?
Clearly, MSc is now better at the K position too, with that other kid also escaping via portal.
The portal has been the best thing to happen to MSc with all this addition by subtraction.
