If you wanna glorify this idiot, who was a joke as a player, then go ahead. He is a loser, and his rhetoric is ridiculous. But, don't worry, if his contention is true, we already have the necessary elements in place.
 
I am actually laughing more at Theisman's comments. The whole story is a joke and it makes me embarrassed to be a fan of the Irish. I sure will be happy when football starts - because I am sick and tired of all the prognosticators and experts (including myself). Someone snap the damn ball already!

However, Growler1 states that Mr. Pickett was "a joke as a player". Mr. Pinkett played at ND from 1982 through 1985. He carried the ball 889 times for 4,318 yards and scored 49 TDs. In three of those seasons he rushed for 1,100 yards or more. Those are the facts. He does not sound like a "joke as a player" to me.

Of course, Mr. Pinkett is black. So there is no way he would be good enough to play on Growler1's team.

Whoop-de-fricin-doo! He was a whiner in college and in the NFL. He has zero class, which is evident by his comments recently.

No, he couldn't play on my teams because he is not tough enough, nor classy enough. I would not babysit him like the ND coaches did. The fact that he is black is inconsequential.
