If Griz free throwers were on Ft Sill's artillery range...

...instead of a basketball court they'd have at least half a dozen bracketing shots to hit the target. Unfortunately, this is basketball and the most tries they usually get is one ... maybe two. Which aren't enough? Seems like the first of a one-and-one or a two shot foul is too often the stinker. These guys leave waaay too many points at the line. Gonna cost'em.

Didn't the Griz shoot 16-20 in this game?
Yep, and Cherry was 7-9. The kid is constantly getting better. I think he is now in the low 70's for the season, and he started off horribly, so that makes it even more impressive! He barely cracked 50% last year.

Leave those grizzlies alone. They got-er done without worrying about the feds breathin down there necks about surgeries and dog walkers. Cherry made the ones that count-the Field GOals. hello.

Im pretty sure we shot 80% tonight, that pretty damn good, and we are getting better!

Tippy isn't happy unless he is bitching about something. I doubt he ever wore a jock, just sniffed them his entire life. What a Douchebag.

You wana complain about FT %, MSU 317th in the country with an outstanding 61.7%. I'd kill for upwards of 80%!

Though the Griz ain't too hot either 66.4%, 227th (before last night's game).

Ouch... the Griz have performed better since Conference started. They are up to 67.8% in conference only games (#4 in the conference). Cherry is up to 75.6% in conference, which is #10.

The Cats on the other hand have gone down to 58.9% and dead last in the Big Sky.

Very weird stat to look at for the Cats... They got some pretty good three point shooters who just cannot shoot FTs at all. One of them is 25-56 from 3 point range (44.6%), but 1-10 from the FT line

Tell me about it. Out of curiosity, is there any rule saying you have to shoot near the free throw line; say, if you wanted to shoot your free throw from the top of the arc... maybe we'd have better luck.

Standing a couple feet back from the line worked for Nick van Exel... He was around an 80% shooter from the FT line. Couldn't hurt to try I guess :P

Criswell used to stand about two feet from the line also...

 What would a knuckledragger like you know about basketball? Your retro species hasn't even evolved far enough yet to develop opposing thumbs.
