Unless the Griz offense struggles mightily, and/or turns the ball over, I just don’t believe the Griz defense gives up more than 3 scores. (2 TD’s and a FG, or 2 FG’s and a TD)
With that said, I’ll go with Griz 31- Spuds 17.

What I don't like about this comment, is that EVERY week they say..."need to clean a few things up". I mean, I don't expect perfection, but at what point are they playing well enough that this verbiage doesn't bother me? :lol:

There’s gonna be a moment in the game where we can step on their throats and run away with it….if we can not execute in that moment, I expect a closer game. I think this is close for about three quarters, and get some sort of turnover/big play at the end of the 3rd/early 4th where it blows the game open and it’s too much to overcome for Idaho.

Many on this thread seem to be focused on the score from the ISU game, and forgetting how dominant the Griz
actually were in that game. Mistakes were made, sure, but how many times in all the football you all have seen has a fumble close to the sideline on the 2 yard line bounces and hits the pylon creating an automatic touchback?!
If that ball bounced out of bounds before hitting the pylon the Griz retain possession. Assuming they score, being that close, we now 35 to 6 heading to the 4th! Even if the rest of the game plays out the way it did, we wou or be having a much different conversation.

I don't think this game is close if the Griz don't turn the ball over 3 times.

< 3 turnovers = Griz 41 Idaho 14. >/= 3 turnovers = Griz 28 Idaho 24.

Why does your prediction change each day to a closer and closer score from where it started a week and a half ago? Does your confidence in your team wane that much???? Have faith man and stand behind that unwashed, unkempt beard and alcoholic bravado. Wear that flannel with your favorite pair of dirty old ripped jeans with swagger and hop in that old beat up F-150 with half your possessions in the bed and head East on I-90 to come cheer on your fellow felons with pride!

We like rival streaks and usually take them to 16. This one is currently only at 7. The Little Brown Stein has been in Missoula since 2000.
