I'm interested in seeing what their thoughts are on the game this weekend, anybody know where to find their equivalent of egriz?
 
Most die hards have migrated to a tubs at the club discord….heres the run down of what vandals think about this weekend….

Montana is good….we’re gonna have to play damn good to win. Hoping Idaho can grind it out on the ground and limit offensive plays run by montana.

I personally think Idaho is gonna lose, we will hang around for the most part, but will need some kinda montana turnover down the stretch to get us over the hump.

I stopped by a few times this week and it's surprisingly dead for the most part. Not much discussion taking place about this weekend's game in comparison to what we have over here.

Just went there myself to have a look, and I'm not a troll, so I was more just looking.
The big discussion is that we used to throw potatoes at them, this year the plan is to throw the mashed potatoes which I think was initiated by a Montana poster.
I don't recall potatoes being tossed at football games, basketball for sure, but I don't think we throw stuff from the stands too much these days any more.
Other than that, they are talking about where the tailgate will be and that we are nuts for leaving close games in particular to go to the tail gate areas.
Nothing for board material to get anyone too fired up, but I like that there is a vibe there that they are going into something similar to the old black hole in Oakland.

*The Griz have an absolutely terrible offensive line.
*Our offense is mostly just Eli Gillman and we don't have much besides him.
*All their defense has to do is make Ah Yat throw the ball and they will win.
*Wortham isn't all that and a bag of chips but they shouldn't punt to him anyway.
*Their QB>our QB
*The Griz defense rotating so much is ridiculous and apparently means that the staff can't settle on who they want to play.
*Griz defense won't be able to stop their running offense.
*The vaunted Griz defense doesn't exist anymore and what we have is a patchwork group of guys who aren't very good.
*Our defense is too small.
*Bobby is weird and annoying
*Our team isn't better than their team but if we do win it's because Bobby somehow always manages to have teams that win and also Wa Griz helps, so if the Vandals lose it's because of some strange Griz magic.
*Idaho is probably better at every single skill position
*Montana is going to try to run the football but won't be able to.
*The Vandals have been fine against much better offensive lines than Montana.
*The only thing that scares the one guy is that the Griz are 18-3 at home in night games over the last 20 years. (Huh. Didn't know that just being at home and playing at night is what helps you win games.)
*As long as Idaho does not get in their own way, they will win.

I certainly missed this, but if that's what the team believes, I want them to come back and talk about the honest reason they lost the game.

Thanks Mom! I appreciate this, makes me feel more confident. The only thing I ran into was that they are a 0.63 favorite to win, so apparently, they take that stupid Congrove poll to heart. The teams web page says they are ranked in all of the 8 (going to hold back on a political comment, ahem) major polls. I would imagine that is Stats, Coaches, Sagarin, Congrove, Versus, Massey and DRatings (I spelled that correctly), but not sure what the other one might be.

Let's not encourage this throwing contest.
We don't need the crowd getting 15 yard penalties.
We don't need anyone getting hurt and I doubt that anyone has the accuracy of their arms to be trying in the first place.
Please leave the taters in the pantry and stick to eating tots for pregame.

This is correct. Tubs at the Club provides the main forum now.

After the drop-down, Allvandals went to sh*t when a handful of older guys sort of took over. Most of them are cool, but several are insufferable and directly caused people to leave. Unbelievably, Allvandals spent weeks whining about the fact that the Tubs podcast uses curse words.

I'm not saying any derogatory - these guys are hardcore ride or die vandals and we're lucky to have such devoted fans - but there's a vast gulf between them and every generation from and after GenX.

Hey, I think we have a game this weekend. You guys been practicing rolling over?

Lol nobody is actually going to throw any potatoes. And as for the mashed potatoes comment on the Vandals forum, that was me haha. I was just playing along with them talking about throwing potatoes, so I said we'd do it but with softer potatoes. Joking of course.
