I THINK HE'S PRO"GRESCH"ING NICELY

He just needs to work on the dump off / screen passes that were such a big part of the offense last year. He tends to shot put those throws. On second thought let's not work on that at all. I like the long ball.

I don't know about anyone else, but when Gresch escaped defenders to run it in for the 2nd touchdown of the game, I immediately had flashbacks to Jordan Johnson's similar escape during the UNI playoff game in 2011.

I really got tired last year of hearing on eGriz that Stitt's offense doesn't require a mobile QB. True that Stitt may have been smart enough not to say that given the situation but for anybody with at least one good eye, it is obvious that it makes the offense 10X harder to defend. What looked for all the world like a DOA scheme now looks pretty damn clever. It even makes the hurry up more than just a faster way to go 3 and out. There have been plenty of times the defense is struggling to get set that then led to good things for the Griz.

I said this at the beginning of the year....All the top teams at the end of the playoffs have one thing in common...and that is a dominant QB.

All our Montana teams that made it to chippers had a stud at QB.

Barring any injury..in 2 years we will likely have a top 5 qb in the country who has 4 years of experience...hopefully 4 straight years of playoff experience. The benefit of having a freshman at the QB spot will pay huge dividends for this program...and its gonna be a blast to watch it all play out.

Even more exciting hes already playing with the guys he will be throwing to for the next 4 years.

How, in 2 years, are we going to have a quarterback who has 4 years of experience and 4 years of payoff experience?

Wow. Just wow Getem. Really? You make me watch that and see where Pflu had the program headed. I truly believe it would have been another natty and then all hell broke loose. Depressing and I think Pflu is a good coach who got screwed. I hope he gets another shot somewhere. Now - about your comparison to JJ. Similar cuts, but Gresch trucks people hard. JJ was quicker, but Gresch will just lower the boom when needed. Love it

Great memory Get'em. Thanks for bringing that back.
Can't wait for those days when we go to a playoff game and the opposing team is held to 10pts (In fact that would be nice in any conference game).

Also, I remember when we would have that (4) by our name in the score and we would feel bad because it wasn't a 1 or 2. Ain't happening this year, but that is what we need to see while we got the Greschster here.

Same exact thought Copper! Saw Pflu then got pissedepressed!! And that was only SECOND YR for Pflu!!!! Would've been multiple chippers in Pflus tenure with Griz. Engstrom fooked him and fooked him hard!

I am accepting of too many people's faults, but about the only thing i can't put up with is a person who will backstab another by cowering behind the dust, allowing all the blame to be pointed towards the other and watching them take the fall; instead of proactively standing up to what transpired and taking at least your share of the blame (or more, like a true leader does).

Definition of true scum bag: over age 4 and still acting this way!!!!! No other way to describe it.

So, how would you have handled the rape scandal and backlash?

95 percent of the "rape scandals" had NOTHING to do with the football program. Who gets fired for those!?!?!?????

Instead, fire Pflu and Oday to make yourself look good. Actions of a true coward and scum.

The proper thing to do would NOT be a chicken azz "captain," but instead stand up for YOUR institution, don't bash it to make yourself look like snow white.

Firing pflu for saying an innocent person is of high moral fiber is about as cowardly as it gets.

Defend the institution YOU are running publicly, correct and criticize privately - not the other way around ! ! ! !

Again, who takes the fall for the other 95 prct of "all" the rapes (which was actually on par with the national average for a school of that size). Why does the blame stop midway up the ranks? Why couldn't he take his share of it, like any true leader? Fire himself.

All he had to do was defend his institution to the public and talk about some corrective measures he would implement for the ENTIRE U, as again 95prct were not football related. Be a good consoler-in-chief and the media frenzie is calmed and actually sees it all in perspective (nothing out of the average happened here, but their leader is going to shoot for better than average - then it's all positive coverage on how the U goes above and beyond). Fail to do this (he actualy did more than fail to do that, he fed it with firings and backstabbing and badmouthing) and the frenzie is fed and hyped and spun into something bigger than itself - proof; most people don't even know what happened at the U, they just know there was a huge media frenzie and firings and think it's rape U and it's all football's fault (when it's not "rape U" cuz it's on avg with school of 15k+ and it had nothing to do with football, sans beau Donaldson and a football mom getting tru out of jail since cops decided to enter into his own private property and unnecessarily tase him).

He's a coward and handled it completely the wrong way. He fed the fire instead of showing everyone there isn't really a fire. He is solely responsible for the downfall of the U! He needs to be held liable, monetarily or elsewise.

This clip also reminded me of how far we've fallen, and how fast. Our 3rd string cb got a huge pick in that game and ultimately a call from the NFL. Third string CB!!
