...that my Hornets "only" lost 17-3 to the Griz at homecoming.

My beloved Lodi High Flames just got trounced at homecoming 53-3 to the Cesar Chavez Titans. This is REALLY horrible. Lodi started the year something like 6-0, and have been getting beat bad ever since (now 6-2, 1-2 San Joaquin Athletic Association). It's even worse when one factors in that Chavez is a freaking SECOND-YEAR varsity program that went 1-9 last year.

ouch, those losses hurt. I have to admit that my high school heart is still back in Montana, but the local team here (the one that my son dreams of playing for) took it on the chin last night from their biggest rival -- 28-17. Last year, they won something like 49-14...a lot can happen in a year.
