Bothell won despite 26 points and 17 rebounds by Gig Harbor's Mathias Ward. Geoff McIntosh added 21 points for the Tides (8-9).
Here is my take...
He is a strong bodied 6'6" ...I can see him at a 3..maybe 4 spot.
He has ripped arms like Stauds, but a bit beefier kinda like a leaner
John Brockman ( U of Wash) He has much better touch than Brockman does though. He has a nice power game around the
hoop. He missed 5 or 6 lay ups in traffic ( or he might have had 40 points !!) but had a couple nice dunks
He is STRONG. He took a couple threes ..but missed them
although they looked good...it looks like he has a nice touch. TAKE NOTE..THIS YEARS TEAM ..HE CAN
MAKE FREE THROWS. i think he was 8 for 10.
He runs the floor very well for a big man.
great rebounder !!..good poster.
It might not have been his best game (like 56 point night) I was not overly impressed nor was I disappointed...I would say..
B plus.....A great get for Tinks..(at least Tinks can recruit)
although I have not given up on him as coach like some of you all.
Can he beat out Selving and McGillis ..hard to say...prob not Jack.. Ward's Freshman year.
