I...S...U spells "Trap"

If Jamar was healthy I'd say Griz by 15.

But given that he's still out, I'll say Griz by 12.

Watch for Selvig to have a big game.

While I certainly wouldn't guarantee a win, if ISU is able to pull the upset -- and it would be a large upset since Vegas has installed the Griz as 9.5 point road favorites -- it will be because Montana is looking ahead to Saturday, and not because ISU is even close to on-par with the Griz. That should be obvious, even to a weebs fan.

Here's some more interesting trivia for you: there's not one player on Boise State or Idaho's scholarship roster (U of I does have a walk-on) from Idaho, either. Says a lot about the "quality" of high school basketball in Idaho right now. The state produces a few decent players every year (the Reid kid at MSU, for example), but not many.

I've seen players from Idaho on various division I rosters like San Jose State, Utah State, Utah, Weber State and Montana State.

You can't play 'em if you don't recruit 'em!

And that's a fact.

The LA TIMES has the Griz by 7...but the last time they did, the Griz lost, either to Portland, a game they should have won, or San Francisco, another game they should have won...in both games, free throws were the difference....looks like they have worked on that....

Sorry griz, Bengals win this won. They are much improved. Busma and Qvale will
be a good matchup. Gilchrest and Cherry the same. Just like I correctly predicted the loss in Greeley, you can chalk this up to loss number 2.

Or not.

Enjoying Portland?
