And here are some other somewhat-comparable teams with 26 (or more) wins from 2016 (not including Wichita). Five teams won 26, 27, or 28 regular season games and their conference championships. Three got 12 seeds, two got 13. Illinois State (Missouri Valley) won 26 games in the regular season (but not the championship) and had an RPI of #32 ... but they did not get a bid. Monmouth (Metro Atlantic) won 27 games (but not the championship) and was RPI #47 ... but they did not get a bid either.
