He already turned down his head coach job at San Diego St., and reaffirmed that he came back to UM to stay at UM.
That affirms my point in another tread that because he wants to stay, and he has no other jobs to go to, there is absolutly no good reason to extend his contract since he has virtually the same winning percentage as Stitt and lost to the Cats 3 out of 4 times this time around. He is in a very poor negotiating position. Better to wait until his body of work next year can be viewed. Hell, he'd probably stay with a series of one year contracts. And just because he came back to stay at UM doesn't mean that UM has to stay with him if were just seeing Stitt 2.0.
