There ws nothing about the first half that made it appear "unsustainable" or "in the red". They looked relaxed. Confident. Successful. Positive.

In the 2nd half they looked lost, confused, frustrated, and the defense looked freaking EXHAUSTED. That ain't gonna win games against better competition.

They were the 3rd ranked team in the nation. How much better is it gonna get?? Did we schedule Goergia on our bye week?

I saw the entire game and I recall that we won the game against a good team at their homecoming. Yet you persist in focusing on instances of perceived weakness. So using your logic, if a boxer gets knocked down in the 2nd round and wins the fight by a knockout in the 10th, you would say he is a lousy fighter. The first half was VERY pretty. A veritable CLINIC on how to play football on both sides of the ball and a complete dissection and domination of the #3 team in the land.

I generally agree with AZ. Yes we get to celebrate a win but if not for a stupid offside penalty on the on-side kick, we could very well be bemoaning an ugly loss. If it is actually Bobby's strategy to barely hang on to a lead then it is a dumb one which will be exposed sooner or later. While I hate 30 point losses more, I still hate losing when your team lead by multiple scores for most of the game.
