Huse to MSU may not be done deal

Based on comments from catville, maybe Huse will not be the top choice, which I think will be great for both the Griz and Huse in the long run. He will have better opportunities than msu if he is patient.

News last night basically made it sound like it was his if he wanted it. Hope they were wrong.

Having been at todays forum with Huse and talking to boosters who attended Johnson's forum yesterday, it is not even close right now. Most of the Boosters in attendence were VERY impressed by Huse he is still the leader at the 2/3's mark. The only thing that was ackward was that Huse really had a fine line to walk between respecting the job he currently had and also agressively make it clear he wanted the job he was interviewing for.

I have talked with Brad about the job. He really enjoys being at UM, and loves working with Krysko, Tinks and Andy. But make no mistake, Brad wants to be a head coach, and wants to move up. He feels he is ready for that job, and wants it. The only one he possibly wants more is UM, and that job isn't open for now.

I wish Brad the best. But I hope he stays here.

That would be like being rescued as you were starving to death in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and finding out all your rescuers had to eat was cat food.

What if the MSU boosters' opinions about Huse really don't matter to Fields and he chooses the person he is most comfortable with based on a proven record as Head Coach?
