How was pre game.. Uniforms?

I totally agree about the numbers being hard to read. I think it would be better if the numbers were white.

Way up in the nosebleed section of the North Endzone none of us can read the numbers. App State's numbers showed up better than our own team's. Numerials should be white and the helmets should be silver with a GRIZ paw on the sides, just like always. Quite messin' with trend stuff just to be different.

If we took a poll of the stadium, we would likely get . . . oh, at least 15,000 different opinions on the new uniforms, helmets, numbers, readability, etc.

I don't care if they come out in pink tutus with Hello Kitty glitter on their helmets; if they play like they did last night - what does it matter???

The GRIZ are BACK. They can wear anything they want and I'll like it.

I originally thought the Unis looked boring, but they really grew on me. The helmet was absolutely sick. I hope it's our helmet all year.

The only thing I didn't much care for about the unis was that because it was the flat maroon, whenever the players sweat it looked like a different shade of maroon all down their backs. lol

You could definitely tell which players sweat the most and where. It got odd as the game went on.

Riddell 360 or Revo Speed helmets. The look is great IMO. I agree about the unis getting soaked with sweat and the color change looking odd, but to support prior posts- I don't care what unis they wear, that was great football. BTW the pair of skydivers hooked up by the feet forming a "M". It was clear from the NEZ and very cool.

I like the unis more than I thought I would. I really like the helmets w/ the Griz paw on the back. The paw might look even better though if it was just a silver outline of the paw. That way the nub in the center of the paw wouldn't be so noticeable.

The SEALS did us proud of course but the players outfits were bush leek. Put it this way, whoever designed them awful uniforms deserve to be smacked in the back of his head by a grizzly. Worst I seen in all my years as a fan. Helmets had no shine on them and were a different color than the shirts. Pants looked like they come straight out of my grandsons piss hamper. A disgrace and insult to the tradition that those kids are playing for. Hope they auction the hats off for a good cause and bring back the classics

HUH SO HOPE NO ONE CONFUSES ME WITH HIM. LOL THOUGH. only thing I didn't like was the way the sweat made the unis change color it was a little weird by the end of the game

Not your age. In spite of numerous feedbacks from the last set of unis which had the same problem, there is no contrast for the numbers. They can't be made out from the upper deck. If they insist on dark gray for the numbers, they need to be outlined in white, not black. The numbers in the new unis seem to be even darker gray than the last, which further reduces the contrast with maroon. Another instance of putting the needs of the fans behind all else. Why not, tickets are so cheap.....

I like the helmets for a change; the large size of the paw is badass.

OK - Here is my take on the helmets. When I first saw them live at the game I definitely preferred our old helmets. When I watched the replay on TV I thought the new ones were pretty bad ass! Like others have said doesn't matter what they wear as long as they keep the attitude they had Saturday night! Go Griz!

If the boys like/liked them and they play like this all season long.... They can/could wear multi-colored bed sheets and I wouldn't care.

Liked the helmets and the unis overall. However, the numbers and names would sure look better and be more easily read if they were white. Bright silver would look much better than the darker silver. The paw was great and an example of how the names and numbers should be used. Over all :thumb:
