UM only has 5 home games scheduled for next year - @ UNI and Vs St. Francis. How much would it cost to get USU in Missoula? Besides St Francis, Griz have home BSC games against Southern Utah, Sac State, ISU and MSU. I assume the 6th game will be D-II or a new FCS team.

USU only has five home games scheduled next year too. We have been rotating one FCS game a year for several years now rotating SUU, Idaho State, and Weber State. In that rotation next year would be Weber State. Not sure we could play at an FCS opponent on the road, (even UM) if we wanted to. I personally would love to see a USU/Griz game wherever it was played.

Next year we have at home: San Diego State, Fresno State, Arkansas State, Air Force, and New Mexico.

Yes, Montana has only one opening for next year with open dates on 9/17 and 10/8. It will be a home game, irrespective of quality, which means either an FCS game or DII, preferably on 9/17. If FCS, it could be a home and home.

Montana already has FBS games scheduled for 2017 and 2021 with UDub and 2019 with Oregon. Those body bag games have brought $500-700M in the past. The Wyoming game last year brought $400M plus revenue from allotted tickets. AD Haslam is a Logan native, so I would be surprised if there is not some casual talk about potential future scheduling with USU. He recognizes the fans interest in regional FBS games, particularly with former conf. opponents, and would likely take the reduced revenue when the time is right. But he will require 6 home games so it is not likely to be soon, certainly not 2016. 2018 is interesting in that there is already 6 home games on the schedule with open dates on 9/15 and 11/3, so Kent could be looking for a 9/15 money game. FCS is fickle in that depending on the calendar, some years 11 games are allowed and others 12. Fickle in other ways as well...

E. TN St. has not had a FB program since 2003 and is playing at a DII level at best. St. Francis would be middle of the pack in the BSC. They beat ETS 58-9 a couple weeks ago. There is no comparison this year.

Agreed and since St Francis is technically a d1 game they don't necessarily need to book another one of those...
