That is true. Coach Hauck inherited a strong program during Hauck 1.0 but he inherited a pile of stitt in Hauck 2.0.
I doubt coattails ever go away which is the reason for consistency every year.

I think that's absolutely the case. I think you could make a very strong argument that NDSU is still riding the coattails of Bohl. I mean he developed the brand and reputation and culture of winning. He built it. Noone has screwed it up, they just keep maintaining it.

Also, they have decided on a style of play and have only made minor changes. By doing that they are able to reload their roster instead of rebuild it.

He should spring for gas money and a room and send an assistant coach to Bozeman to recruit a couple Bozeman High MSU legacy current and future all conference guys like Choate/Vigen did in Missoula.
