How many get RS after Monmouth.

It's now game four so the new red shirt rules are in effect; how many early players get shelved to save their season?

1. Cole Grossman
2. Braxton Hill

(Don't know how Grey shirts work, if they don't lose a season of 4 to play 5 yes, if not, not)

3. Ostmo (he's too good to waste when Graves and Eastwood are on the clock)
4. Corbin Walker, Elwell....wait, bet we don't burn a kid this year.

Unless we have a Sulser situation where the player has post grad plans that don't involve a shot at the SHOW.
What are you talking about? This is 100% not true. I know his family well. If you think players get to decide whether or not they redshirt in Bobby Hauck’s program you are dead wrong. Just ask Jeremy Calhoun

Redshirting Ostmo would be a horrible idea.
Ostmo and Walker are 100% not redshirting

I'm not trying to start a war, I was lead to believe that Sulser had plans for advanced schooling (I think it was medicine, but I could be wrong) so his intention was to only be at UM for four years. If I am wrong, I apologise. I never said players get to choose whether they redshirt or not.

Never thought they were. Putting your #2 RB on the bench would just be dumb. And Hauck isn’t dumb.

My understanding as well. Of course, that CAME from eGriz, so there's that.

In RS news completely unrelated to the Griz but that’s likely to drop a bombshell on the NCAA, the University of Houston’s STARTING QB AND 3RD YEAR STARTING WR are both choosing to RS after 4 games because Houston is 1-3.

The shit just got real.

The scuttlebutt is they are sitting out their RS year to join Oklahoma Sooners next year.

That’s hilarious. I’m sure NFL scouts won’t care about that at all

I honestly wouldn’t doubt that one bit. It’s obviously OU’s modus operandi....and King is directly in the Kylar Murray mode...

I wish Corbin Walker could redshirt this season but the last griz CB to play as a true freshman, that I can remember, is Trumaine Johnson. Obviously I dont quite expect him to reach that level, but he is in good company and should have a great career.

Trumaine was a WR, Bobby converted him to CB. Shows how talented he was.

I thought Sulser signed with the agreement he would not be redshirted. I would think Bobby honored that if true. Bobby may not have had any desire to redshirt him. I suppose Sulser could leave after year 4 regardless of being redshirted and having a year of eligibility left and if he made it clear he would leave it doesnt do you alot of good to redshirt him.
