How many ATTENDed the DANCE?

Looked like a lot of unoccupied pine Saturday. Anybody see numbers on crowd size? Are Griz fans maybe coming around to thinking that not every game, particularly against non-scholarship competition, warrants their presence?

I was there. I thought the crowd was decent, not sold out. Some openings in the south end zone for sure. It was hot....only 77 degrees but felt like 95 for those of us in the sun. I think a lot of folks extended their halftime in the shade and then a lot left early once game got out of hand.

Announced attendance was 23,132. Personally, I didn't expect a sellout for a (supposed) cupcake game. People know that, from here on out, any given weekend could be the last one with weather good enough to enjoy "the great outdoors."

Probably as many or more than I thought. Was sparse at opening but people didn't get to their seats like last weekend. I looked back around after a couple series and it had really filled in.

I know it has a lot to do with TV schedules, but....STOP SCHEDULING GAMES IN THE AFTERNOON SUN IN EARLY SEPTEMBER if you want better fan attendance.

Also, of course there would be a "come down" after such a great (NIGHT) game/atmosphere last week. Time of game, and yes, opponent play a large factor into crowd size.

It was so freaking hot sitting in the sun yesterday.
