How Good is Trey Lance?

I'll put this out there if barring an injury and or unforseen circumstances like a shortened season,if Lance doesn't get drafted in the 1st round I will man up and say I was wrong.
I callenge posters like uofmmnan,, argh, and kemajic to do the same if he is.
This is based only on where he is picked, not 4 years down the road if he's still in the nfl.
I got a better idea for a message board “challenge.”
Why don’t you bet whose wife can pee farther up a wall? Griz Nation would care much more about that—we really don’t give a shit about your opinions on your QB.
But is there a Griz nation wife who could out-pee some chub’s wife? Now that is something we would all care about

Or you could count how many geriatrics are shitting themselves at a Montana game, my guess is over 6.5.

I’m good with that. Still a much better challenge than some chub’s opinions about a non-Griz player.

Exactly. At least that would be interesting. I’d hammer the over at 6.5.

Nobody except insecure Bizon fans cares about who’s right or wrong about a college football player. This is an internet fan site.

Just curious. Do you even know who Trey Lance is. I don’t.

Not surprised, you must be busy rolling or starting new threads on Bryce sterk

I think he’s the guy who won like 7 tour de frances but later got busted for steroids?

Err no, maybe he’s the guy sent to live with his father in tough South Central Los Angeles, and altho his hard-nosed father instills proper values and respect in him, and his devout girlfriend teaches him about faith, his friends, Doughboy and Ricky, don't have the same kind of support and are drawn into the neighborhood's booming drug and gang culture, with increasingly tragic results.

Trey Lance is OBVIOUSLY the greatest thing since sliced bread and the best college qb at any level, ever. He alone won every single game for the Bison last year since he's so good he doesn't need the rest of the team. He's the incarnation of every NFL qb rolled into one (except the bad ones like Ryan Leaf). Entering the draft early is a GREAT idea because it's never proven to be a bad decision for anyone, ever, and even if it had it surely wouldn't apply to Trey because obviously he's the exception to every rule. Anyone who cannot see how he is simply THE BEST EVER...RAH RAH RAH SIS BOOM BAH is just ridiculously stupid and A BAD PERSON.

There you go....... Is that enough obeisant, obsequious, ingratiating, sycophantic fawning yet?????

And another one that makes you shake your head and go wow.wtf.

As in “WOW, I can’t believe I’m so uncultured that I can’t get an obvious and hilarious reference.”? That kind of “Wow”?

Those are the only Lances and/or Tres that come to mind.
Unless the chubs are talking about nouns. Like I could see how chubs would like trays. So much more room than a plate.
Or using lances like giant shish kabobs. Maybe this whole thread started with a simple typo and he meant, “How good is eating with trays and lances?” That would make way more sense

The BITH reference was something I wasn’t expecting, but it was perfect to throw at a NoDakker. Just no clue. Throughout the years, I’ve found that the funniest times come when you can make the target think he got you good. You’re great at it. Honestly.

Alright, so I’m playing at 6200 ft. elevation tomorrow morning. I’ve played at sea level for about the last 10 years. I’ve read that 5000ft equals a 10% increase in distance. Here’s the rub: I went back to the old blades that go about a club+ shorter at sea level than my “normal” irons. I’m thinking the driver will obviously go longer, but my hope is that the old blades will be normalized to what I’m used to at elevation. You know, the old, ‘Montana 7-iron is a sea level 5-iron’, but in reverse? Hit the center of the clubface and find out, I know, but I’m honestly curious about what’s gonna happen tomorrow.

Hey, whatever happened to Jlamweighsaton, the OP on this thread, and dedicated UM alum? Haven't heard much from him lately. He must be busy with his daily hikes to the M followed by coffee with his buds at Zootown Brew.

Jlabrumtear, lifelong Griz fan and current student, may have had to take a timeout alongside 2011, who is totally not the same person at all.

Back to the original question. My NFL pro scout friend, Buddy, rates Trey Lance as “on the good side of medium.”

That’s pretty much what I’ve been hearing too now that the hype has died down. People are starting to realize that he’s more a beneficiary of the system than some great talent. Toughness is the other concern I’ve heard mentioned.
