How Good is Trey Lance?

Around the 6:10. Minuet mark they talk about Lance and where he stacks up.

He definitely could be the next Josh Allen or Carson Wents, like they said. I bet he hopes it ain't like the latter. Seems like that would hurt a lot.

Wow they said he could be in the top three qbs picked. I’m betting the bizon put the hurt on the ducks this fall. They seem to reload year after year. I wonder why he didn’t consider transferring up to a FBS team this fall, he pretty much won every award and a perfect season. Should have moved up to prove himself at next level or not.

It's NDSU. There is no next level.

It's hard in a way to evaluate Lance because he has the best players around him, pretty much every game. Elite defense, so he doesn't have to win games. Just has to not lose them. It's vastly different than what, Sneed had to deal with. Sneed had to win games. Lance didn't.

He's clearly talented, but he doesn't have the pressure that other QB's do. The Oregon game will be but for him. I think he's a really good QB, but top 3 in the draft? I'm skeptical..

LMFAO....Sneed lost games by being a turnover machine. They aren’t even in the same discussion

Didn't say they were. Learn to read.

Not aimed at you personally but there are a few posters over here that say he's around a 3-4 round pick.
One "genius" over here said he wouldn't even start at northern Arizona .
Most analyst who are actually paid to know these things like Daniel Jeremiah of the nfl Network, Joel klatt from fox sports, and Todd mcshay of ESPN all have him as a top 2-3 quaterback coming out of college next year.

Makes me wonder whether they watched the Illinois State game. I'm sure a lot of scouts did. Zero TDs. 10 of 21 for 135 and a fumble. Unimpressive; seemed more than a bad day.

So your basing an opinion about him on one game opposed to a whole season. Sound logic.

I’m basing my opinion about him off of you, and I think he cares way too much about what other people think.

What opinion? None was offered, just game data and an observation from watching the game. Pointing out that he is not as consistent or as perfect as touted. Yes, one game, the only one I watched. Any offense at all by Illinois St and it would have been an NDSU loss. You don't offer that in your narrative. The kid is good; but you hyperbolize.

Kem, I hope you know what you’ve just done with your words on an FCS fan message board. These Bizons aren’t kidding around if you point to a shit game from a QB who passes a whopping 18 times per game. The best play is to just tell them that the person playing QB for them now is the greatest to ever do it. Kind of like a toddler who says he’s the king of the lava floor. Just let him think it, and bedtime will be better.

To me your post was an opinion.lance wasa rs. Freshman of course he isn't going to be perfect every game. It's a learning process.
Show me a Qb. Who is perfect even in the nfl their not.hell even the MVP of the leaguelast year Lamar Jackson had games where he struggleda bit.the closest I can think might be Patrick mahomes.
The Illinois State game was a defensive slugfest, which if the Redbirds would have been able to move the balli know ndsu's game plan would have been different.
Ndsu has alot of talent on the offensive side of the ball.trey Lance and Christian Watson specifically, if you don't believe me watch the Montana State playoff game and listen to Jeff choate's post game show.about those two.
Hyperbolize, when's the last time a rs. Sophomore from the fcs has been projected to leave early and be a 1st round draft pick.
I'll be waiting for your answer..

Man, you got him so good! You posted your little enlarged heart out. People will think twice about not agreeing with Bizon hyperbole now.

Kemajic, I like another poster said earlier it's no wonder some don't get paid to be nfl scouts
I'm sure you would pass on Trevor Lawrence too since he wasn't that impressive in the natioal championship game against lsu. you know one below average game and you suck and all or Justin fields because he couldn't beat out Jake Fromm at Georgia, fields must be pretty bad if he can't beat out a guy who got picked in the lower half of the nfl draft.
