1-1. Lose this weekend unfortunately. Sneed is still hobbled up and Akem is out. Two of our best offensive weapons either sitting or not 100% doesn’t exactly instill confidence.

That is not the least bit accurate.

Sneed is absolutely hobbled up. As for Akem I was just surmising he wouldn’t play. Wasn’t it you who said Akem was in a boot at the basketball game against MSU northern? If he was hurt enough to be in a boot I can’t imagine him playing. Who knows I guess. Like I said, I was surmising and have no information other than what I’ve read on here and what I’ve seen of sneed in last weeks game

Didn't mean to bold the Akem part. The Sneed hobbled part is not accurate. He's good to go and has no limitations. For those that thought Sneed only played last week because the Griz fell behind, that is also not in the least bit accurate. He was ALWAYS going to play against Idaho. Bobby said he wanted to start. But he felt that given what Cam did, he had earned the right to start the game, but that Sneed was always going to play. So no, Bobby did NOT emergency send in Sneed when he wasn't ready. Yes the timing of when he went in made it look that way, and maybe if the Griz jumped out 17-0 Dalton doesn't go in the fourth series, but, he was always going to play in that game.

Yes, Akem was in a walking boot on Sunday. I have nothing new to add to that other than that is was for a foot injury, and not for a knee injury or an ankle sprain.

Dammit George! See if I ever go to bat for you again!

I think we go 2-0 to finish. If we were to lose one of the final two games it's gonna be the one in Bozeman. We are gonna beat Weber Saturday....plain and simply. Bobby has the boys playing lights out. No quit. The Brawl is usually a crap shoot. We should have beat them last year and we choked...anything can happen in that game and usually does.

I thought sneed looked a bit unsure when it came to leaving the pocket and scrambling last week. That’s the only reason I thought he might not be 100%. Part of that is he usually doesn’t shy from contact, but last week he went down to avoid contact on at least one occasion. If he’s 100% that’s awesome. Win or lose protecting him has got to be number one priority.

I live on a diet of maroon kool-aid while wearing maroon colored glasses. I’d rather be wrong picking the Griz than right picking either Weebs or Scats. 2-0 all day baby!

I agree in that I think we will go 2-0 but the big test will be Weber. If we get that win, then 2-0 is a damn near given. The Cats are a paper kitten. They have only beat one team with a winning record and the rest of their wins are essentially against bottom feeders, except NAU (which is close). The teams they have beaten have a combined record of 22-47 (32% winning percentage). The teams they have lost too are barely above 500.

I agree, Dalton looked very uninterested in running last weekend. He threw mostly from the pocket and didn't seem to have his full throwing strength or accuracy due to his injured power leg. When he did run, he winced almost every time getting up, especially when that douche Idaho D linemen intentionally twisted his ankle after a sack. After the hit in the guts, I totally think Hauck pulled him to save him from any more harm rather than the game being out of reach. That being said, I was taught it takes an average of 18 days for an ankle sprain to heal. It's been about that long so I expect him to be close to full strength this weekend. I hope so. His scrambling ability will be an important factor in keeping the Weber DL off balance.

I'm damn sorry for Sammy if he is seriously hurt. He was having a great season. The WR corp is deep though, and Toure' seems to be on a "mission from Gawd". Go Griz. Biggest home game in many years and I am excited.
