How do the Griz look this year?

I'm looking forward to the BSU-Montana game on Sunday.

How does the b-ball team look this year so far? I see they've had some tough road games, but the Utah Valley St loss surprises me.

Boise State has a 2-3 record, and have been hit by the turnover bug hard this year. The one game we didn't turn it over a lot was BYU on Wednesday, which we won 72-68. BSU actually held a 15-20 point lead most of the game, but the team (and/or coach) doesn't know how to finish games.

Welcome broncogriz! Sorry I'm the first to respond as I don't know as much as some about the Griz this year, but here goes:

I don't think we are a strong as we were last year, but hopefully we'll give the Broncos a better game. I think the Utah Valley State loss surprised a lot of people. By doing so, I think the loss may have made the interest in Griz BB wane a bit this year. It might just be the FB team's run in the playoffs though.

Stop Strait inside and you'll have a lot easier time.

Don't forget about Dlouhy and Hasquet. They are both averaging over 11 ppg. But that would be the main three guys to focus on.

Oh, I didn't forget. I can never forget about Dlouhy. I remember a HS game I watched where he got the best of Heytvelt. Granted Heytvelt was only a sophomore and Dlouhy was a senior, but still...

You're right. If BSU can slow those guys down, it will be tough for us to win.

I watched Dlouhy in H.S. as well. He was unbelievable! I thought he was gonna be unstoppable in college.

Me too! When I heard that Few turned him down for a scholly @ GU, I thought he was crazy! Of course, that was the year we signed Mallon.
