Temp is predicted to be in the 90's.
How much of a factor will it play in the game?

:clap:get'em_griz said:It's all about the science, really. Much like Coastal Carolina did to prepare for our game in 2013 through science, the Griz practiced this week in a simulated environment inside Dahlberg Arena where they increased the temperature to 95°F. They also turned up the sound system to a dull whisper to help prepare for the quiet. I know many fans say that the simulated noise never truly prepares a team for the quiet on the road, but it certainly helps.
The Griz staff went out to Walmart last night to purchase those mini fans with the water spray feature for every player to help them stay cool and comfortable in the hot and quiet environment. Unfortunately they were mostly sold out of those fans due to Cal Poly fans buying them to stay cool in the stands. When a player is not actively playing on the field at any moment, they will be consistently using sharing the fans to make sure they don't overheat. During halftime, the coaching staff prepared cold soup for them to keep them hydrated.
This may be a hot and quiet game, but Cal Poly has to play in it too. Actually, I don't understand how the NCAA can let these kids play in these conditions. These boys on both teams won't be able to play at their full potential because of how hot it will be. They really should move this game to a cooler environment as it would be much safer for them to play the game.
