Horner & Calhoun

I was at the game. Pretty obvious there and later on film that little Cupp likes to come in on the pile and slam the ball carriers head against the turf. He did that on calhoun's concussion play and once on a tackle of Gustafson.

Nonsense. The momentum of the tackle and just an awkward landing caused the concussion. Ketner Kupp is the one who made the tackle...there were nothing going on with a pile or anything else. Maybe you should watch it again.

Also, I hope both guys are ok and get well soon. Injuries are never fun to watch.

I've watched the play many times, lots of replays on TV. I didn't feel it was dirty at all. Unfortunate part of the game.

What a ridiculous statement, small minds think small

+1 info...there was an EWU player laughing after Horner was hurt. EWU won fair and square, but they have a few punk players and fans!

Oh bullshit. That was a clean tackle that just went in an unfortunate direction. Everyone at EWU is also hoping for the best scenario of recovery for Calhoun and Horner.

Injuries in football are inevitable and your accusations are senseless.

Watch the film.

I have, and you're full of shit.

Typical Griz posters. Whenever we put out a better product than you, it's the Griz m.o. to attack character. Go ahead, keep grasping at straws!

I'm one guy not "posters". You've got a great team, enjoy them. I'm not impugning anyone's character. That's what I saw. Your team has great character. I just notice that you guys tackle around the neck and head a lot....
ya, instead of tackling up high, that should go low, oh wait....

I'll match intellect with you anytime, and I'm a better fisherman than you too clawman.

And I'm sure you witnessed this personally, certainly not hearsay.

Did you watch the film where Horner's defender clapped after realizing he was hurt? Not spewing smack, this is just fact.

There is no question #18 celebrated Horners injury. None at all...

The defenders were celebrating a great defensive play. Just like they celebrated every great defensive play.

But hey, create what ever narrative you want, I suppose

Maybe on lots of other plays. But it wouldn't make sense to on that one. It was either 3rd or 4th and long and it was a 20 yard completion for a much needed first down. I don't know any defenses or players that would be excited they just gave that up.

That was not a twenty yard completion for a first down. The Griz punted immediately after the play.

It was a 20 yard completion for a first down. Negated by a holding penalty. But #18 didn't know that at the time of the injury.

Yes, it was a completion for a first down ... until the penalty for holding on the Griz, which necessitated the punt. The celebrating defenders did not know that at the time of their celebrating.

FALSE and here is proof:

And yes, penalties are listed on play by plays. There is no penalty listed. This is the last play by Jeremy Calhoun on the evening.

But hey eGriz, keep creating stories to make yourselves feel better about being bullied by the big bad mean Eagles.

Oooh, so now we are moving on to trying to slander a different player. In that case

He had just laid a huge hit on a Montana receiver. He didn't celebrate "when he realized the player was hurt". If you've ever played on defense, you would know that you make the big hit, you celebrate, you realize he is hurt, you take a knee. That is exactly what happened, so please quit making up stories.

Like I said earlier, it's the eGriz m.o. Get whooped by a team, then grasp at straws trying to smear the other team's players.
