hope

Hope springs eternal as the saying goes. I just don't have a feeling about how good or bad this Griz team is. What does "temper" my hope is that our wins are against very poor teams.

The Griz got blown out IMO and I owe Grizo an huge apology because He CALLED IT AND I CALLED HIM A MORON FOR CALLING IT. Grizo, YOU WERE RIGHT!!! BUT, the Griz didn't quit. It sure a f--k looked like guys like Wags, Coyle, Kidder, Holmes, Moore, Pete and I could go on and on were playing their balls of to me.

Hope, I have none for the EWU game, but not because I believe the Griz are screwed for the season. I thought the Griz would start the season 3-2 with losses at App and EWU, so I haven't changed my thought on that, just sucks that the L against NAU is now in there. However, I will be there Saturday HOPING, I'm wrong. Making my first trip to Cheney since 1996.

I DO HAVE HOPE that the Griz will go 7-4, losing to EWU and Weber, while still putting an assbeating on the Cats in November. And win a road playoff game on Thanksgiving weekend. I think it will be fun to see the Griz go on the road early in the playoffs for a change and I think it will be great for this young team down the road.

Absolutely no apology is necessary on your part, hgf...NONE! :thumb:

On every Griz prediction thread over the years, I've always said we'd get rolled, thumped, beat, and/or embarrassed by whoever it was we were playing. If I don't do that little bit of "schtick", I get a ton of PM's, text messages, and phone calls asking why I haven't predicted a Griz loss yet.

I think the last time I didn't do it was when I watched the 2008 semi-final game between Richmond & UNI...to see who we would play for the National Championship that year. After watching that particular game, I would have bet my house, and all my material possessions, that there was NO WAY in the World that Richmond could possibly beat us in Chattanooga!

I was on top of the World, and I just knew the Griz would be there with me on 19 December! So, I figured I'd stop my silly prediction crap. There was also some collateral damage from my bad decision...I saw Carroll lose the NAIA NC the next day in Rome, Ga.

Might sound like a bad Griz fan thing to do on my part, but I gotta' go with what works for me! Most of the time I'm usually wrong on my predictions. Hopefully, my future predictions will continue to be wrong...it can't happen soon enough!!

Yes, I still have hope. I expected a roller coaster ride with this team. I also hoped for a JJ like improvement that really turned last years team around. I think it is going to take a little longer with TM. This team has shown that it can come back but it has also shown that it can stumble big time with all the turnovers.

I am not sure what happened with EWU in Utah with their QB. Before seeing the result of that game I would have thought we would get rolled this weekend. Now I have hope!

This is going to be a tough season since all of the BSC is tougher than in the past. We CANNOT have 5 turnovers in any game and expect to win.

One game at a time! :thumb:
