From a pure speculative standpoint this does no look good. I have a feeling what it is but obviously need to wait for the details to come out. Hope my gut feeling is wrong.

Don’t wish ill on anyone but it makes one question why? Why in the middle of the season? Is there more to the story that will come out soon? I have never met Brien but he seemed to be a decent guy. The best guess I can make is there is some internal issues with the team that may explain their poor performance as of late.

For as....weird as the release sounds, if UM is indeed moving on, I've gotta wonder if admin is over-correcting a bit so they can CYA without having another situation similar to what happened when UM moved on from Scheweyen.

This is never a good sign midseason and the last distraction you need when you've started 1-3 in the conference. Hopefully, it is nothing too serious, but hard to assume it isn't considering the timing and how it came out of nowhere. May be a while before we find out what is going on.
