Just talked with freshman WR Holden Ryan. He has torn labrums in both shoulders. He'll have two surgeries 2 months apart #BigSkyFB

And he waited until now for surgery??? .....thus will not gain any play experience redshirting? Or can they grey shirt him?

The doctor/s who did his mandated MHSA physicals should be very proud of their work not recognizing two torn labrum

Fix his shoulders and redshirt him. Better for both him and the team in the long run. I hope he heals well!

if anyone has seen him play in high school, he has been a man among boys while being injured.....IF he comes back form these surgeries healthy, he could be the next great griz wide receiver, defensive end or linebacker (wherever he ends up)...he has the whole package......best of luck to him.....go griz...

Hope he is able to get right. Shoulders are tricky but the kid is obviously a warrior and seems like the type who is willing to put the work in. He takes a red-shirt, gets a year older and a year in a college weight program and you have a monster in the making. Best of luck!
