F...that, go Towson, please win two more games. I know it's a longshot but just do it.

Fine piece of literature all around.
AZGrizFan said:havgrizfan said:Hammer, you are being too kind to even refer to it as a visitor's "lockerroom". A cement room with folding chairs and hooks on the wall, and the UM doesn't even provide enough folding chairs or hooks for the full amount of a travel squad. Not that that room is even big enough for the amount of folding chairs needed for each player on the visiting team. It's just pathetic all the way around, and as great as the Griz have been since Wash-Griz was built and expanded, time and time again, I will bet dollars to donuts they've lost some great recruits due to the piss poor facilities and condition of those facilities over that same stretch.
One of the single biggest reasons why I get frustrated at times with fans whining about any amenities at Wash-Griz, the music, Monte, day vs night games, ect, ect, ect. Since the first expansion at Wash-Griz, the money pumped in has gone directly to that stadium, which is used by the fans, and not nearly enough has been pumped into the program, the facilities, and the players and coaches who spill their guts every week for months on end with sub-par facilities in order to give the fans some entertainment in that plush stadium.
Why would Griz recruits give a shit about what the VISITORS locker room looks like?
BWahlberg said:A few years ago Jim ODay at a GSA meeting said our visitor locker "areas" are comparable to some others around the big sky, limited concern to improving those.
However, seeing the locker are EWU has... That's embarrassing to think how far behind them Montana is.

Really? Typo smack? Do you honestly think I would type the sentence "Because he best you." On purpose? Lol
Kind of like how Cat-Tards were crying about Kanongata'a this year? :roll:poorgriz said:Most people already knew he was a classy kid. It was just a bunch of Neanderthal, mouth breather egriz idiots that we're calling him a thug and a punk... Because he best you.

If those guys acted like Shoota on the field and threatened opposing players and fans with gun violence, then, yes, they would be punks. It's not complex. Hope this helps.
Exactly my logic :?havgrizfan said:Stumptown, So when Jordan Tripp or Brock Coyle, or Monte does community outreach stuff it's genuine but when a brash, cocky, super-talented kid who happens to play for a team that has beaten the Griz two years in a row does the same type of community outreach stuf, it's not? If there was ever a more rediculous case of sour grapes, I've only seen it on Bobcat Nation.

Honestly good for him but is it not ok for me to not like the guy? I have a lot of respect for him as a player, but Tripp, Coyle or Monte (weird example) aren't flashing gang signs after every big play. I'll take Tripp, Coyle, Ellis Henderson, TraVon Van, Jordan Canada, Caleb Kidder and on and on and on in my community over Vernon Adams any day. Not a fan of how the guy carries himself, and it has nothing to do with being brash or cocky (every athlete is). Don't like the kid at all, sorry not sorry bro.
grizfnz said:I guess the thing that bugs me about him is the whole "they're playing my song" when he takes the field. They don't have a special song for Kupp or Hamlin. It gives the whole me before team appearance. How many players on other teams get their own theme song to dance to when they take the field? I realize back in the mid 90 ' s the u played the Hawai 5- 0 song sometimes after an AhYat to Pacheco TD, but to my knowledge no single player had been put before the team. And before anybody says VA is a special player, so was Dave....he actualy won the Payton and a championship.
