Stump, I didn't say you had to like him. I don't care for him throwing for nearly 800 yards and 11 touchdowns against the Griz in eight quarters of football over the last two years. That's the main reason I don't like him, because he's absolutely tearing it up against Montana and has two years left. However, that doesn't make him a thug. Maybe he is a punk, but he doesn't flash gang signs any more than Tru and Swink did when they would make a big play. They didn't flash gang signs, aren't in a gang and neither is Vernon Adams, and deep down, Griz fans FLAT OUT KNOW the kid is not a gang member. Deep down, a few posters WANT him to be in a gang, or to somehow fail off the field, so they don't have to admit he's ripping the Griz defense a new a---hole for what will be four years before it's all said and done.

As for my response to your post Stumptown, I was simply asking why you thought his major and the community service he does weren't genuine, but when gogriz.com or the Missoulian touts Griz players doing the same thing, I haven't seen you on here saying it wasn't real. That's all. You can NOT like him all you want. I wasn't telling you not to.

I just want to make it clear that I don't think Shoota is in a street gang. I've read that he has ties to one or more, but I am confident the only gang in which he actively participates is the gang of douche. Watch out for that gang. They will pump you up, and then suck it right out. They are a huge problem in Phoenix, Riverside, San Berdoo, Temecula, Cheney, and other like areas.

I don't think VA is in a gang, but I know for a fact he was throwing up gang signs in WA Griz after a few plays. I thought the way he carried himself was disgusting out there and would not want that type of guys around kids. That being said I'm done bashing the kid for now, I'll give him another year to grow up and we'll see how he matures going into next season. He is a great talent and a massive douche bag.
