James, what's your biggest concern with the Griz this year?

Are any of you going to Greeley and if so, are you planning head gear to protect you from flying clipboards?

Best Old Fashioned in Missoula?

Griz football national championship or an Elite Eight appearance for Griz BB?

What do you think is going on in the locker room? Keintz "retires" mid season, Sammy seems disinterested at times (strange for a guy with NFL prospects). Team seems to have plateaued and lost focus last game. Very un-Hauck like characteristics. Bigger story under the surface?
This speculation needs to stop. You're clearly not paying attention to the details. I'll attach the article where Keintz opens up about his mental health issues and how it was destroying him. It had nothing to do with him being unhappy about the team or the season. People need to stop bringing this up. And if you wanna know how much Sammy cares about this team, go follow him on Instagram. You'll see he wears his heart on his sleeve. He's not disinterested at all.

It is a question for the Griz Fan Podcast, everything is speculation. I read the article when it came out. No way any player is going to say anything other than he did. BTW, this is not an indictment on Bobby. Just a question as there is a lot of pressure on kids who play D1 sports, period, let alone the tone that can be put forth. If you don't think environment has an effect on a kids mental state, you are not clearly paying attention to the details. Sammy cares, however, watching his body language on the field and on the sidelines one gets an impression (I follow him on IG). Possible he is frustrated with the QB situation ... which is not his fault.

Ok well you're gonna get the same answer from them as you got from me, that is if they even answer your question. I can't believe you're trying to make a possible assumption that Keintz fabricated that mental health story for quitting the team. Do you really think KPAX would report a story like that if he was lying? Not to mention him opening up about it and allowing KPAX to interview him about his mental health situation. Shame on you if you actually believe that!

Does it appear to you that the majority of opposing offenses have figured out how to successfully attack the Griz base defense? If so, why do we defer when we win the coin toss and give them the chance for more drives per game?

Please point out where I said Keintz faked anything? Where are you even getting that other than my use of the word "retires"? That does not mean he faked anything, but what really happened? My question was about the environment inside the locker room. If there is something going on in the locker room (think hostile work environment) you can bet 100%, that it can effect kids mental health to the point where they walk away, mid season. It can cause kids to get frustrated and affect their play. You are putting words into my mouth

At the beginning of the season if I told you we would be starting Jr. Bergen at RB (yes, that means without Knight, Ostmo, Harris, and Childs as potential backups), Kris Brown at QB, no Sulser, and no Keintz, would you have high expectations for the offense?

Why do you guys continue to give Hauck a pass? I would assume that Griz nation expects more than tied for 7th in the league with 3 weeks left in Bobby’s 4th year! It’s like the fan base and media is scared to criticize the coaching staff. You guys had no problem being critical of Stitt.
Are you “Keith” on Twitter?
That colossal d-bag cat fan who contacts kids directly on social media?

Sure seems like the same person doesn’t it!?

You specifically said “No way any player is going to say anything other than he did” implying that when players quit, they always seem to have some kind of excuse like that. Unless you were trying to imply something else, but if that’s the case then you should’ve worded it differently.

Would Wahlberg rather close a deal where he represented buyer and seller on the most expensive house in town or have the Griz win the chipper this year?

A) opposing offenses have scored 14, 28, 14, 19 points the past four games. I don’t think anything’s been “figured out”….the flu killed us for 2-3 games, and a couple key injuries…D is back in almost full force now, which is key.

Bobby defers because he likes the “two-fer” mentality….score at the end of the half, then get the FB at the start of the 2nd half and score again…..hasn’t worked real well this year, but it’s a sound philosophy for the most part.

Compare and contrast this win against the 2009 win against the winless ISU Bungles.
Go back to the 31-1 conference record days, and there sure were a lot of games like the one on Saturday against piss poor BSC teams. The streak of consecutive conference titles was a lot more tenuous than a lot of people on here may remember.

That said, they need to keep winning, even if it's ugly.

Do you guys believe Bobby needs to make changes to certain areas of the coaching staff in the off-season?

Also, it hurts me to say it, but should we be rooting for both MSU and NDSU this weekend? The cats would be a top 4 ranking come Griz/Cat which would obviously help the Griz final rankings IF we were to win and SDSU losing would open up a spot to move up.

I think we have to root for Eastern. If the cats win, even if we beat them, they will still have fewer conference losses and likely get a higher seed in the playoffs. If Eastern does lose, they likelihood they lose another game is very low. With us winning out, we would then be tied with our conference records, however Eastern would hold the tiebreaker. For playoff purposes, I think it would benefit us more for Eastern to win.

Was it a good coaching decision to bring back Cam and Osmo in this game before they were ready only to see them get injured again?

Just because they may have gotten injured again doesn't mean they were not ready.

Yes, it may mean they were not ready. Why are there not serious questions being asked about the strength coach and trainers? Something is quite different, since Nicholson left.
