Really? Colstrip over Lame Deer 2-0???

Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Must have been a defensive juggernaut on both sides.

Or a forfeit....

Almost positive this is the case and it wouldn't be the first time for Lame Deer. Many of the reservation schools have a tough time fielding a team. Basketball and cross country take priority.

Anyone else see the Billings Central vs Dillion Game? Defending State Class A Champ, Dillon, quickly went up 10-0, then Billings Central got it together and dominated in spite of five fumbles. Final score was Billings Central 38, Dillon 17.

There was plenty of talent on both teams, though one kid is a lock for Division I football;

We need to be recruiting the Billings Central kicker, Luke Daly.

This kid has a MONSTER leg as both kicker and punter, and is very accurate on his field goals. Last night he didn't punt often but had one that covered 60 yards in the air. Several of his kick offs went out the back of the end zone. He converted his one field goal attempt of about 35 yards with 20 yards to spare.

I've posted about him before, and I'll post again until he commits somewhere. Yet if any of you "in the know" have the coaches phone number, make sure they are calling this kid once a week!!!!

So who has the bigger leg, Billings Central kid or the kid from Forsyth?

Can't say. I've not seen the kid from Forsyth. Yet I've seen Daly at Billings Central for the past two years and he is the real deal. I'd love to see him as a Griz.
