They couldn't get ahold of the doctor the family wanted to see him so they are keeping him awake until the doctor gets there. Our prayer are out to him and his family. Hopefully he will be okay.

I am not sure who it was that fouled him. However I did hear that him and his parents went up to the hospital to visit Tyler. I wish the best of luck to Tyler in his recovery.

Both Butte High coach Thatcher, and senior guard Kyle Burgman, said that the foul by the opposing player was not intentional. They both said the kid made an effort to duck out of the way of Gilder, and clipped him low, causing Gilder to hit the floor. As I stated before, the Swartz family went to visit Gilder that night in the hospital. Gilder has been sleeping for the most part, but does recognize people and is aware of what happened.
Hammer said:Latest on Gilder. He was released from the hospital today and is doing fine. There are even rumors circulating in Butte that he will sit on the bench in his jersey with his teammates during tonights consolation. If thats true, turn off the lights Kalispell is done!!!!
