As noted in another thread (but I figured this is big enough to merit its own thread), high profile prep guard Michael Oguine (Los Angeles area H. S., West Hills, CA point guard) made a verbal commitment to play basketball for the Montana Grizzlies.
Oguine, a high school senior who has been rated as a high mid-major point guard, and has been rated at between 2.5 and 3 stars (out of 5) by most recruiting organizations, led his Chaminade H. S. team to the state championship last spring.
Here's the story in today's Los Angeles Times: http://www.latimes.com/sports/highschool/varsity-times/la-sp-vi-boys-basketball-michael-oguine-commits-to-montana-20140918-story.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Josh Gerson, recruiting analyst for Scout.com wrote this in making the announcement: "Michael Oguine is one of biggest steals out west in 2015. Athletic guard can play on and off the ball. Projects as all-league in Big Sky."
Here's a brief story from earlier in the year from the LA Times:

And here's a photo essay of that championship game from the L.A. Daily news:

Hearty congratulations to Michael for choosing to play as a Griz!
Hearty congratulations as well to Montana coach Travis DeCuire for securing this young man as a major hoops recruit!
