None of us are as important as we think we are. The university doesn't give a shit about how you feel and all the pissing and moaning in the world will change that. Things have happened, get over it. I would love to log on here and not have to read about it. What I would love is some football talk. "But Dupuyer Griz, this is about football." No, it's not the sun will come up tomorrow, the season will happen and most likely the playoffs will happen and we will be there. Let's try to get into football and the team/coaches we do have instead of this giant circle jerk where everyone thinks they are entitled to something besides the opportunity to be a fan and go to a game. Football isn't cancelled, we're still going to play and I for 1 can't wait because it means we can finally move on even though 10 or so of you will refuse to let this go for the next 15 years.

I'm new to Egriz but I agree, Let's remember how much fun it is to go to the pre game tailgates, renew friendships and then have a few hours of pure entertainment watching kids play football to the best of thier abilities. And allow us to scream and holler and act like we are kids again too. I for one cannot wait for the season to begin and to be able to support the Griz anyone I can. Go Griz.

I too wish we could focus on GRIZ football, or GRIZ Basketball too. The reality of it, what has happened is a major shake up to 2 well respected men, dearly respected my many. Combine that with a president that has not been here long enough for a large majority of fans to not form an unbiased and honest opinion of ( I fall into that category with Engstrom).

It does not help any we are in the offseason, and egriz is DEAD until fall camp starts. On the bright side, this is a nice change of talking about other things than moving up, and trash talking (which happens in every thread these days).

I am actually enjoying the various opinions from so many on egriz. In time, it will be put to rest. In the meantime, Hang Tough! :thumb:
