Here we go / Montana and Nevada

Kemp with 19 at the half - he's single handedly keeping Nevada in this game. If he didn't have the best half of his life, the Griz would be blowing them out.
 
WOW nice last shot by Kemp, that was just sweet... kudos are given where they are deserved.

Yeah, it's true about the lighting affecting the Pack, the Griz have special night vision goggles on (big advantage over their opponent). :moon:
 
I live here in Reno and I go to alot of Nevada games. The Nevada fans do not make alot of noise unless Nevada is in the lead. With all of the school sports they fans do not support them well unless they win or lead. The griz have to keep a lead to keep the Nevada fans out of it. GO GRIZ !!!!!

You're right about that. Also Griz fans have just had more to cheer about in the first half :dance:

The Montana fans are louder than the Pack fans, they are organized and screaming, "Montana........Grizzlies".
 
I agree with you Cats, Damnit i hate saying that... grr oh well, anyhow, I think Fox is going to lite a fire under the pack's asses during half time. If we can keep them in check the first 5 min and the last 5 mins. of the second half we've got a great shot at an upset.. LET'S GO BOYS KEEP UP THE TEMPO!!! Play smart ball not emotional ball.

AP News Flash: Griz Fail To Get Memo!

Widely reported as fact in Reno, the University of Montana Grizzlies do not belong on the same court as the Wolfpack BUT NO ONE SENT THE MEMO TO MONTANA! Rumor has it that Nevada fans are trying hard to track it down but there are reports that the dogs ate it (or more correctly are just about to).

Seriously, regardless of the outcome, this game has been awesome to watch so far. Larry has diagrammed it perfectly and the guys are working hard. Catch your breath here at half-time and jam it down their throats GRIZ!!!! 20 minutes to go...
 
The asshole from the Reno local sport station calling the game just called MONTANA, "Montana State." Man that pisses me off !!!
 
I'll admit it and eat crow, I sure as hell didn't expect this. I thought the pack would be up by a minimum of ten at the half. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to be wrong. This game is awsome!!! Let's go boys!!!
 
Sounds like a great half! Keep up the fine work moving the ball and pick up the pace on offensive boards and Montana just might make it to round 2. I'm sure Coach will make some nice halftime adjustments.

What is the link for the Nevada board? Sounds like they're pretty shocked!

I can't imagine that Strait will keep up his hurricane scoring effort in the second half (he'd deserve national tournament MVP if he does...lol), so we are going to need someone else or couple someone elses to step up big time.

Will Dlouhy hit a couple 3's? Will Hasquet play a big role? What about a couple buckets from Chavez? How about our Mr March, Mathews? Criswell surely will make some plays? Need another good half from Ellis running the show.
