I'll eat my bowl of crow. Your team has developed into a very good outfit. Hell of a complete win last night. I'll assume we both win this week. Will be quite a show in 2 weeks. Looking forward to it.

I'm right there too. After losing OConnell, Welnel, Hauck, Ford on defense and then Vidlak coming in as the qb savior, I have to say, I thought this team would be a total dumpster fire.

Watching last nights game, the defense plays better team defense. And McDowell looked really good. Wr's are explosive.

Kudos to the players and staff, this team has far surpassed what I expected.

I was never a shit on Robbie poster like a lot on here. I think he was a very good player for the Griz. But have you noticed how many less pass plays have gotten behind our defense this year?

It used to always be “oh look they have a wide receiver 5 yards behind our secondary again.” I would say that multiple times a game. I can think of maybe a handful of times it’s happened this year. MAYBE

Agree on Bradford. Defense looks to be much more fundamentally sound. Maybe not quite as aggressive, but much more effective.

Perfect example last night: Marcus Fulcher had 69 yards and a TD on just 5 carries halfway through the first quarter. he ended the game with just 87 yards. This layman couldn’t tell you what the D did differently, but whatever it was, it was effective.

I think a huge difference is staying more home to the LOS and not over pursuing the ball. We did that so much during the year that it killed us in many games. That’s why Fulcher only had 87 yards. He couldn’t really go anywhere because we were playing home and smart vs aggressive and stupid.
