Herders Most Recent Bracket

Herder must be doing No-vember and avoiding alcohol altogether this month. That's the most sober bracket he's ever produced
What's interesting to think about a bit is if we lose (God forbid) would we end up as the 3 Seed in this scenario or just trade places with the Kittens at #4. If we end up at #3 it would still be a pretty favorable bracket until a probable rematch in Bozeman.

Herder said something along the lines of if Montana loses a close game to the Cats, they fall only to #3. But if we lose in a blowout, we'd likely fall down to #4 at worst.

Would you rather play NDSU in Fargo in the semi's with a loss or the scats in Bozeman in the semi's with a loss? A win and your the #2 seed likely avoiding both until the Chipper... not to mention the Big Sky Championship, Brawl Trophy, and chance to go undefeated all the way through... Lot's to play for even with a loss this week... but boy a win sure would be sweet!

Okay, if that side of the bracket wouldn’t be a cakewalk, can you state your case for its strength?
I didn’t even look at the bracket. I was addressing the first sentence in the thread. Herder “Has the Griz at 2 and the cats opposite at 4.” That means he thinks Griz beats the Cats.

I was addressing that no one of note, even Herder, agrees with the poster that the Cats are better than Griz.

Haha yeah, the poster was the first to comment in the thread, and you jumped in right after before there were many viewers. Now there’s 5 reactions.

Whatever floats your boat man, FCS is just D2 without the montana and Dakota schools.

Has the Griz at 2 and the cats opposite at 4. I would love this bracket if it turns out that way.

I sincerely hope the Griz win and this is how the bracket plays out. If it does, I will be using the NC tickets I bought and not selling them, because there is nobody on UM's side of the bracket that can beat them. I have watched all of these teams play, and none of them will beat the Griz at home.

I seriously doubt any of them can beat the Griz even if they play on the road other than NDSU and MSU.

I would love to see a UM/NDSU NC or a UM/MSU NC

Fact. It's past time for MSU, UM and NDSU to move up to the FBS level.

From what has been put out there, the Griz and Bobcats have never had invite to go to the FBS level.
I get people want them to move up, but you have to have a conference to play in that makes sense.
No one is currently inviting or even posturing that the Montana schools will be invited. It is a moot point.
Until an opportunity arises (which it hasn't) there is nowhere for Montana to go other than the Big Sky Conference as it currently stands. Until another round of conference alignment happens, I personally don't see an opportunity presenting itself. Will the PAC12 raid the MWC further? Status quo for now is the smart play, then seeing what happens with all the house settlement stuff and if the big big schools break away for their own playoff.

I think something along the lines of a Snowbelt conference really would be the ideal scenario.

As long as we are able to maintain our rivalry with the cats im in favor of any change that allows us to compete with schools that actually care about competing, have fanbases/gametime atmosphere, and a conference that doesn’t have shit refs.
