He actually admits his bias toward the Cats. After the turnaround in the second half with defense and the energy on the field after the Lawler pick 6, the Griz are deserving of #3. Jekyll and Hyde team by each half. Be nice to see them be Hyde the whole game.
 
You gotta remember that a lot of these national FCS writers think NDSU and SDSU are untouchable, so the cats' loss to SDSU is better than anything we could do this season besides beating the cats at the end, including beating a team almost all of those writers think is a consensus top 8 team in UND.

But again, it's not worth getting that upset over. If we win out, we will be a top 2 seed. That's all that matters. Where they have us right now is meaningless.
 
you really think the Griz would get the 2? If XDSU's both beat UND then the winner of the head-to-head will be the 1. Everyone is loving on Tarlton, and their Army win seems to be carrying them forward. If they win out, I can see them getting the 2.

UND will beat one of those teams. They play the Salukis down there this week. We're going to get another view of how good they are. I guarantee that NDSU & SDSU are not excited about the Grand Forks trip.

We're a shoe-in for at least the #2 seed if we go undefeated, unless the cats somehow shit down their leg and lose like 4 straight before the Brawl, and EVEN THEN we probably still get it.

Disagree.

If our guys win out, I can see us getting the 1 or 2 seed. Though depending on how the other teams do we still could be a 3 or possibly 4. The term shoe-in only applies to NDSU if they win out.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see a universe where a 12-0 Montana with a top-4 win over rival Montana State and a BSC championship gets a 3 or 4 seed, regardless of what happens with SDSU/NDSU/Tarleton.
 
I don't mind Herder's takes overall, but he did have a head scratcher last week when he said that, if Tarleton and the Griz win out, Tarelton would get the #2 seed just because they beat Army and we played a D2 game. I get that take, but when you take a step back and look at the quality of each conference, it's weak sh!t.
